Kotaku's comp to win DSi
Ok, I'm not plugging Kotakus's competition to win a DSi, but if one wonders what to do to win one, all you have to do is answer "What did a Colorado University cheerleader called the cheerleading mode of Wii Music?".
Now Google search "What did a Colorado University cheerleader called the cheerleading mode of Wii Music?" and click on the first link, it should be Yahoo answers and read the responses.... Happy Friday!

You have to see it to believe it. I hope Apple is still slick in 20 years time.

Vaultboy puppet from PAX 2008
So, Rory (http://twitter.com/r_geoghegan) is driving Mick bonkers 'caus his Fallout 3 is still making it's way over from UK. So I took this piccie of myself just now to cheer him up. We have a vaultboy puppet, and it's a collectable. :) Plus we saw some of the good bits with all the special unlocked stuff from the developers themselves at PAX this year. That was way cool and hilarious in parts as well.

JoCo rocks @ Whelan's
First of all, it was fantastic to see JoCo live again. Although I must admit the "Oirish" crowd was much more fun to watch with than with the PAX crowd (PAX crowd were great too). The intimate settings of Whelan's, i.e. we are up close and personal with JoCo. The Irish witty heckling seemingly tickled him no end, and he even lost track of where he was singing once or twice (see video for re. your brain's one). I wonder what he thinks of Irish fans now, with coconut and monkey puppet signings!?! A maths fight broke out at one point after his mandelbrot song, it was all so fantastic. I quipped with hyperactive joy when I realised he was going to play Mr. Fancy Pants. I cannot believe he played "Oh Danny Boy"! Although most folks tried to murmur the song. All in all, a brill experience, especially when the crowd knew almost all of the songs and he pretty much had to sing louder over all of us. I hope he comes back, either that I could still catch him on the UK tour or even PAX next year. Funny thing about the Re. You Brains part was that most of the audience did not pretend to be zombies, except for a few of us (yes, I was flailing and groaning the chorus). I think he likes Ireland though. :)
Anyhoo, a taste of what happened that evening:

Gabe on qn about fear of E3 stealing their thunder from PAX: "Just yesterday we accidentally left some of our thunder in our pants and then they went into the washing machine and the thunder got ruined. It wasn't a big deal to us, though, because we have plenty more thunder."
