Old/New Limerick
Limerick has changed so much in the last decade! The photo was taken with my nokia 6680 one sunny morning. As I was walking down the street I noticed how bright Limerick has become with the demolished omniplex (with its ex-bowling alley, failed cafés, failed eateries). And from this picture, it just gave me a strong impression of this wonderful city that is Limerick.

My christmas in Orlando, Florida 2005
I blogged about this on my personal blog. And here is the pic I quickly done up with Photoshop Elements on Mick’s Powerbook (I did not bring mine). And it was funky and so simple to use. The only thing was using up nearly all the ink in his mother’s printer (we got some more the next day from Walmart, the only thing that is cheaper than anywhere else! 
).

Halloween in WoW
Things go bump in the night at WoW. Well, everyone is in costume, whether they like it or not. Depends on what you get from the innkeeper, when you say “Trick or Treat!?!”. I have been lucky enough to get candy. Although Mick did give me a skeleton custume, which was fun, until I found out you cannot mount up, or fly anywhere when your are in that custom! *lol*
Plus by proxy, I have joined a guild called Cuddle Vikings. They sound really nice. Can’t wait to go questing, or to raids with them.

Those cookies
Heh, a huge stack of cookies (freshly baked) at Marks and Sparks. And I did not buy any, that would really annoy a friend of mine. These cookies disappear very fast. One day, my friend was hanging around for the cookies to appear (like the other folks)… and when they did, dozen of hands went for them! It’s was manic! He nearly did not get any.

Exhibit and its missing admin interface
Right, I only really noticed this since the power outage that knocked my host offline a bit, but I noticed that I could not access the admin interface to exhibit, a nifty photo tool for wordpress. So I did the usual, deactivating and activating it. Then upgraded to the latest plugin release. Still no joy, until I did a bit of googling and found this post. And in turn pointed me in the direction back to my hosting pages for some more searching in its knowledgebase and found What’s the difference between PHP-CGI and PHP as an Apache module? and leads straight on to how to switch between them. So went to my hosting admin interface and unchecked the box labelled with “Run PHP as CGI?”. Saved, and waited a few minuets, and tada, worked!

WoW mount
Finally got my mount, it is true when you hit lvl 40 onwards, the gold starts rolling in!
Back in Ironforge where I make usually my warezzz (blacksmithing ) and buy myself more bling (armour, shields, swords). It is the vein of WoW, I think, everyone comes here… but when I saw the amount of high levels on mounts outside the bank there.. all I could think of was “WTF?!?” *lol* And boy did it lag big time!
One of the quests Mick and I was on was killing ogres… one of them was a warlock, and managed to shrink me. I became knee-high. Sort of looks funny, but at least I can still give that ogre a good kicking.

A day in WoW today
Sunday, another quick WoW day. Innocent day of pillaging and mindless hack and slash? Well, things are not all what they seem in the world of WoW.
You see, it’s not your typical day in WoW (when is?! ). Thought being on a boat, all you get are taunts and challenges… more taunts than anything if you are a lass in the game i.e. “Hug me” comments. Heh. Well, they also love to run around in the buff, and one guy was half dressed and jumped in front of us, while I was taking a screenshot. Looks dodge, doesn’t it? Even his cloth is flapping in front.
